Every part of this vehicle has received some form of attention. An example is the hood and
trunk. The super bee has a 2 piece hood and trunk like most cars. The top is glued onto the
bottom piece. Metal expands and contracts to heat and cold. The glue is made to work with the
metal and expands and contracts with it. Over 40 years this glue tends to dry up and becomes
hard as a rock and cannot work with the metal. When the metal is cool it can look like a mirror
finish with no waves or dents. But when exposed to heat such as the sun the glue cannot work
with the metal anymore and this can cause dents and waves while the metal is hot.
What we have done is removed all the old glue from the hood and set in new glue which is
specially formulated for this purpose. The glue in the trunk has also been replaced. The inside
of the trunk was cut open, replaced with new glue and welded back into place.
